Bond Angles/
hybridization
The bond angles of the compound are very important, but easy to understand. All of the carbons in the structure, excluding the cyclo-structure, are 109.5 degrees. The carbons inside of the cyclo-structure are 120 degrees, and so is the double- bonded carbon to oxygen. Double-bonded oxygen is 180 degrees, and the last element is the oxygen bonded to hydrogen, which is 107.5 degrees. As for hybridization 109.5 degrees is sp3 hybridized, 120 degrees is sp2, and 107.5 degrees is sp3 hybridized.
